In addition to the bubble bath sessions last weekend, I also did some more traditional boudoir sessions in a gorgeous bedroom suite with Sarah. I must admit, this is still my favourite way to photograph boudoir and Sarah was just amazing to work with! It’s nice to have a change of scenery from my studio where I usually shoot boudoir!
Last weekend was the first boudoir marathon that I’ve held in a long time. I don’t tend to do photo marathons anymore because I’m pretty bad at sticking to just an hour for the timeline and like the option of having tie to go over to keep shooting. 
Luckily the suite we were in had lots of space so it was no problem to keep shooting while the other girls were getting ready.
I picked this particular hotel because of the awesome bath tub and I really want to do a sessions with just bubbles. The bubble bath sessions are definitely more fun and carefree than a traditional boudoir shoot, but I love the end result! It’s nice to do something different than the usual bedroom set up. Chrissy was just fabulous and so fun to photograph!
A week ago I had the joy of photographing a boudoir session for Jaime. The last time I had photographed her, it was in a wedding dress, so this was quite a different session. These are a few of my favourite images from the session and I am so happy that Jaime is letting me show a few! I almost never to get to show the images from my sessions

Earlier today I got together with Jessica for a belly boudoir session. I think a lot of ladies stop feeling like they’ve got it the later they get into their pregnancy and there’s no better way to help bring the sex appeal back than doing a belly boudoir session. It’s a nice variation on standard maternity pictures and the style can range from sweet to very sassy. I think Jessica looks adorable and she has such a gorgeous glow! She’s due in just a couple weeks, and I’m still surprised by how easy she was able to move around for the photos! Here’s some of my favourites from Jessica’s belly boudoir maternity photo session in the studio today!
About a month ago Alice joined me in the studio for a boudoir session. I really get excited when I can show a few images from my sessions, it doesn’t happen often! Check out how sassy Alice was for her boudoir shoot! She was amaaaaaazing!
for your boudoir session, it’s always best to bring more outfits than you’ll be able to wear to give yourself options. sometimes the outfits you think you will like the most just don’t work as well as you’d think, so it’s always good to have lots to choose from.
a pair of killer heels is a must! these aren’t shoes that are meant to be walked in, so the higher and spikier the heel, the hotter it makes your legs look.
some sassy lingerie, of course, is a must! bra and panty sets are great start. a garter belt is also a great choice and is verstatile for a few different looks. corsets look great and are handy for hiding the tummy, but can be awkward to move in. sheer babydoll nighties are another great option to help hide “problem” spots and still look hot! sheer robes also look great when worn alone or in combination with other pieces.
other fun options can be wifebeaters and boy shorts, men’s shirts and ties with knee socks, sports jerseys, motorcycle jackets and chaps, etc. if there’s something that you love, or something you know your honey loves, let’s try it!
and to step it up even more, you can just take it down to bare skin with a couple accessories, like strands of pearls, armfuls of bracelets, just a pair of shoes, etc.
most importantly, have fun with your wardrobe choices! bring great accessories and choose pieces that you feel great in!

IMPORTANT: the day of your shoot, be sure to wear loose clothing so that you don’t have clothing indentations in your skin from too-tight undies, etc.
The fabulous Jen joined me for a chilly afternoon in the ENV studio for a little boudoir photo magic. She tried to tell me that she was going to look awkward and I so didn’t belive her… and you can see why! Wowza!
